Releases are managed with changesets. After changing a component, add a changeset describing the bump:
$ pnpm changeset
Commit the generated file with your change. On merge to master, the Release workflow opens a "Version Packages" PR that bumps versions and updates changelogs; merging that PR publishes the affected packages to npm (with provenance).
