关于「馀谘锺」这三个简化字

First, the simplified character for "鍾" is "锺". At least this character has not been abolished in mainland China, and it is at least a surname character. It is not appropriate to directly simplify it to the "钟" in clocks and watches. Second, "馀" and "谘" are the simplified characters used in Taiwan. These two characters appear in the pinyin conversion from traditional to simplified. Should we divide simplified characters into "s" and "gb" branches? The former can accommodate these examples, while the latter requires the use of the "Common Standard Chinese Character Table"?
