Video streaming and Meet become laggy after long uptime or many open tabs despite free system resources

What happened?

After Zen has been running for a long time, or when many tabs are open, video streaming and Google Meet (and similar real-time/media sites) become noticeably laggy — stuttering playback, delayed audio/video, or sluggish Meet calls.

This happens even though the machine still shows ample free CPU, RAM, and overall system resources. Closing Zen / starting a fresh session usually improves things, which suggests a Zen-side degradation with uptime or tab count rather than the OS being out of capacity.

Expected behavior

Streaming and Meet stay smooth for long sessions and with many tabs open, as long as the system still has free resources. Long uptime or a large tab set should not degrade media/realtime performance this way.

Actual behavior

With high uptime and/or many tabs, video streaming and Meet feel laggy/stuttery even though system monitors still show plenty of available resources.

Steps to reproduce

1. Keep Zen open for an extended period (many hours / overnight), and/or open a large number of tabs.
2. Confirm the machine still has ample free CPU and memory.
3. Play a video stream (e.g. YouTube) and/or join a Google Meet call.
4. Observe lag, stutter, or delayed A/V compared to a fresh Zen session under the same system load.
