Minimap player markers misalignment

What is your GPU driver version? Old drivers, particularly on Nvidia, are known to cause crashes on boot. If you are on Nvidia and the game is crashing on boot, please update to a recent driver version before opening an issue. I have the newest Nvidia drivers available through Akmods on my version of Fedora Linux. I cannot guarantee that these drivers are the most recent overall, though.

Have you checked whether this issue is vanilla behavior? In other words, does it occur on original hardware? I have not been able to test this, but seeing as it's affected by the choice of aspect ratio, it seems that even if it is an original hardware issue, it's compounded by the recomp at least. I go further into this further down.

Were you playing with intended mechanics, or using glitches? If it's the latter, which glitches? Playing with intended behaviour only.

Describe the bug The player markers, both current location (yellow) and where the area was entered from (red) are misaligned with their expected location on the map. They seem to both be misaligned by the same amount. This is affected by the aspect ratio. It is both misaligned with both the original and expanded options, but by different amounts and in different directions. The markers seem to be slightly too far to the left on the original aspect ratio and a bit more noticably too far to the right on the expanded aspect ratio. I will include screenshots of both cases further down. I would not be surprised if the markers were misaligned in the original in the same way they are in the recomp with the original aspect ratio option, but the way the misalignment "scales" with the aspect ratio makes it seem like it's dependent on it in a strange way. So even if the recomp didn't create this issue, the expanded aspect ratio makes it worse, which I hope can be fixed. At the very least, the alignment should be the same independent of aspect ratio.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Have a minimap of an area (only tested in Termina Field and Clock Town)

Expected behavior I expect the marker locations to line up with correctly with the map, or if they were misaligned on original hardware, they should at least be aligned the same across different aspect ratios in such a way that they always match the original hardware misalignment.

Original aspect ratio:

Above you can see how the markers are slightly too far to the left. The entrance from the clock tower should be in the center since its door is, and link is lined up in the center in front of the southern exit to Termina Field, yet the marker is a little to the left of that.

Expanded aspect ratio with expanded HUD:

The above expanded aspect ratio is taken after the original without changing links location at all, yet, the markers are different from before, this time they are too far to the right, and by a bigger distance than the previous misalignment.

Expanded aspect ratio with original HUD:

The above is once again taken without changing links location at all. Here the alignment is once again different. This time too far to the right, but less so than when having both expanded aspect ratio and expanded HUD.
