Prepaid Tavily/Exa/Firecrawl vs those keys for self-hosted Scira?

Self-hosted Scira’s deploy still wants TAVILY_API_KEY / EXA_API_KEY / FIRECRAWL_API_KEY (README) so Web / Extreme search can retrieve.

I built apifare (formerly apipay) so that hop sits on a prepaid MCP meter instead: one bearer token; governed proxy; no Tavily/Exa/Firecrawl keys in .env for those calls; caps + kill switch. Founding users get +1,500 credits on the first successful call.

Worth a look if a prepaid meter covers Scira search/retrieve instead of the next provider key?
