[BUG] Application freezes and crashes at “Loading transcription engine…” after importing file

Description: The application becomes unresponsive and subsequently crashes/exits immediately after attempting to import a file. The GUI gets stuck displaying the status “Loading transcription engine…” before the process terminates unexpectedly.
