Maintenance status — happy to contribute

Hi Yaron — thanks for blessed-contrib. The widget set (gauges, sparklines, donuts, log panels, grid layout) is what makes blessed-based dashboards actually look like dashboards, and the project is still very much alive in downstream use (15k+ stars).

Asking before forking or duplicating effort:

What we're seeing:

• Last commit was 2022-02-17 (the marked@4 security bump).
• 30+ open issues, none closed recently.
• The underlying blessed is itself stale; neo-blessed is the de-facto active fork there.

Two questions:

1. Is the project still being maintained, or effectively in soft-archive mode? Either answer is useful — we just want to plan downstream.
2. If contributions are welcome, would you take PRs that:
   • Modernize dependencies (esp. anything with security advisories),
   • Optionally support neo-blessed alongside blessed for the underlying renderer,
   • Triage the longest-standing reproducible issues?

If contributions aren't being merged right now, no worries — we'll maintain a fork. We'd just rather upstream the work if you'd take it.

Context on who's asking: we use blessed-contrib in CLI tooling for the Infernet Protocol (GPU compute marketplace) and a sibling project (b1dz, crypto trading). Happy to commit real maintenance time if there's a path to landing upstream.
