Wide Display Mode not working after latest ChatGPT web update

Hi,

After the recent update to the ChatGPT web interface, the Wide Display Mode feature appears to no longer function as expected.

Previously, enabling wide mode would expand the content area and improve readability, but now:

• The layout remains constrained to the default width
• Toggling the option (if still available) has no visible effect
• Refreshing the page or restarting the browser does not resolve the issue

Environment:

• Browser: Firefox 148.0 (64-bit)
• OS: Windows 10
• ChatGPT Web (latest version as of March 2026)

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open ChatGPT in browser
2. Enable Wide Display Mode
3. Observe that layout does not change

Expected behavior: The content area should expand horizontally to utilize more screen space.

Actual behavior: No change in layout; wide mode appears broken.

Additional notes: This issue started immediately after the latest UI update, so it may be related to DOM structure or CSS changes.
