[BUG] RTL is mangled when highlighted or in focus

Description

when rtl text is highlighted due to differences or by user selection or even focused (having the caret inside)

see before the issue, i put the word "שלום" in all the places except for the middle left which is "שלוש":

after compare and with focus/caret in the right bottom word:

you can see that the highlighted differences in both right and lafet mangle the word, and also where the caret is mangles the word. the words should have looked exactly the same as in the first image.
