Web page load complete/failure/partial notification

Thanks for making this useful project. Seems like there is not a callback for application to know if the web page is loading or complete or failure or partial failure. Should I define such a callback in javascript , and send to my application? Or the project can add it. I guess this probably will be useful for many people.
