Failed to finish the recording, so the editor was not opened. Error: Timed out waiting for native Windows capture to stop

Hi everyone! I’m a totally new user and recently discovered this tool — it looks like a real gem!

I create tutorial videos about different software, so I was really excited to start using it. However, when I tried to record my screen on my laptop, I ran into this error:

“Failed to finish the recording, so the editor was not opened. Error: Timed out waiting for native Windows capture to stop.”

I’ve tried recording a few times, but I keep getting the same error.

Could anyone help me understand what might be causing this and how I can fix it?

Also, does this tool require a high-end system, or should a basic/average Windows laptop be enough for screen recording?
