Warpgate goes down when s3fs S3 mount becomes unavailable (Transport endpoint is not connected)

Hi everyone,

We are running Warpgate and using s3fs-fuse to mount an S3 bucket for storing recordings.

The S3 bucket is configured through /etc/fstab.

The issue we are facing is that the s3fs mount suddenly becomes unavailable after some time. We have seen errors such as:

Transport endpoint is not connected

When this happens, Warpgate can no longer access the recordings directory, so Warpgate goes down completely.

After manually remounting the S3 bucket, Warpgate comes back online and works normally again.

Has anyone experienced a similar issue with Warpgate + s3fs + S3?

We would appreciate any recommendations on:

• Recommended s3fs mount options for long-running Warpgate recording storage
• Whether there is a better approach than s3fs for using S3 as Warpgate recording storage

Any experience or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
