macOS: Remote status bar corner is clipped with Modern UI enabled

Description

There appears to be a visual issue with the Remote SSH UI on recent versions of macOS when the experimental Modern UI is enabled:

"workbench.experimental.modernUI": true

With Modern UI enabled, the Remote SSH/status bar area at the bottom-left of the window is rendered as a rounded rectangle. However, its corner radius is noticeably smaller than the native VS Code window corner radius on macOS 26/27.

As a result, the rounded edge of the Remote SSH area intersects with / gets clipped by the outer macOS window corner, producing an awkward cut-off appearance.

Without Modern UI, the Remote SSH/status bar area follows the window edge normally and does not have this visual mismatch.

Steps to reproduce

1. Run VS Code on macOS 26 or macOS 27.

2. Install/use the Remote - SSH extension.

3. Enable:

4. Connect to a remote machine using Remote SSH.

5. Look at the bottom-left corner of the VS Code window.

Actual behavior

The Remote SSH/status bar container uses a relatively small corner radius. Because the macOS window itself now has a substantially larger corner radius, the two curves do not align and the Remote SSH area appears visually cut off at the window edge.

Expected behavior

The bottom-left Modern UI container should visually follow the native macOS window corner.

Ideally, its corner radius could either:

• match the effective macOS window corner radius, or
• be clipped/inset in a way that follows the outer window shape correctly.

The non-Modern UI layout already looks correct in this respect.

Additional note

This seems primarily to be a Modern UI styling/layout issue rather than an SSH functionality issue. It is especially noticeable on newer macOS versions because of the larger native window corner radius.

Would it be possible to adjust the corner radius or clipping behavior for this element on macOS?
