This project’s multi-agent architecture is directionally correct, but currently constrained to discrete decision frameworks (valuation, sentiment, technicals, etc.).

There is an opportunity to introduce a continuous signal layer that operates orthogonally to these agents:

Concept

A deterministic streaming signal engine (“SuperStreamer”) that:

Models market state transitions across regimes (trend, volatility, liquidity, correlation shifts)

Produces continuous probabilistic signals, not binary outputs

Feeds directly into Risk Manager + Portfolio Manager layers as a real-time overlay

Current architecture:

Agents → signals → risk → PM → action

Limitation:

Signals are fragmented and episodic No unified framework for regime detection or transition timing

Proposed addition:

A meta-layer that: * Normalizes all agent outputs * Detects regime shifts in real time * Adjusts position sizing, not just direction

Integration Point

Insert between:

Agent outputs Risk Manager

Core Capabilities

  • Regime classification (trend / mean reversion / volatility expansion)
  • Signal weighting across agents
  • Drawdown-aware throttling
  • Cross-asset correlation awareness
  • Continuous scoring vs discrete buy/sell

Implementation Direction

  • Streaming architecture (not batch)
  • State-aware modeling (hidden state / regime persistence)
  • Deterministic signal generation (non-random, reproducible)
  • Pluggable into existing agent outputs

Discussion Points

  • Should the system remain agent-driven, or evolve toward a signal-first architecture? We have the infrastructure.

  • How should regime detection influence position sizing vs direction? We have Signals for entry and exit.

  • Best approach for integrating continuous signals with discrete agent logic? Open for discussion...

Context

This is not about adding another “strategy agent,” but introducing a unifying layer that improves coherence, timing, and risk-adjusted outcomes across all agents.
