Symptoms

The game freezes for several seconds at a time even when just moving left and right without doing anymore.

Reproduction

Start the game and start a new game. Start going through the tutorial. The hitches should be noticeable within the first minute as you move and mine.

It also seems the initial splashscreen for the game hangs, however I don't know if it's supposed to be animated or if it just takes a while for it to go away without any indications.
