pkg(xiaomi): Xiaomi Earbuds advanced features break after debloating

Describe the problem

Device: Xiaomi 14T Pro OS: HyperOS

After using UAD-ng and removing the Recommended packages, my Xiaomi earbuds could still connect normally via Bluetooth, but the Xiaomi Earbuds app lost some advanced functionality, such as sound adjustment and other earbud settings.

The following packages had been removed:

• com.xiaomi.bluetooth
• com.xiaomi.mi_connect_service

Bluetooth audio and the connection itself continued to work, but the advanced controls in the Xiaomi Earbuds app no longer worked.

I restored both packages using UAD-ng:

• com.xiaomi.bluetooth
• com.xiaomi.mi_connect_service

After restoring these two packages, the Xiaomi Earbuds app and its advanced controls started working normally again.

This was tested on a Xiaomi 14T Pro with HyperOS.

I suggest adding a warning to these packages, or reconsidering their Recommended status, because removing them can break Xiaomi Earbuds app functionality even though basic Bluetooth connectivity continues to work.

You have a solution?

Restoring the following packages fixed the issue:

• com.xiaomi.bluetooth
• com.xiaomi.mi_connect_service

After restoring both packages, the Xiaomi Earbuds app's advanced controls worked normally again.
