Comments are invisible when made on `code` (not code blocks)

What’s broken?

I made a comment on a piece of text formatted as code Couldn't retrieve it because there was no highlight. I only found it in the side panel. But couldn't see where the comment was made bcse no highlight.

What did you expect to happen?

There should be higlight on code
