table of contents and search do not work properly in closed-then-reopened tabs

Description
In tabs that are closed and then reopened, clicking on entries in the table of contents and highlight list do not scroll the page, and in-text search does not highlight results or scroll the page.
(This fixes itself upon reloading the frontend)
