No peers on torrent added automatically

What is the issue?
Scenario: A .torrent is automatically added to transmission by another program when the .torrent is published.
The torrent is "idle" and under "Tiers" i see the error Announce error: unregistered torrent - Today 03:04:19 AM and below that Announce is queued. If i click "Ask tracker for more peers" on the torrent it starts without any problem and receives peers and begins downloading.
