[Bug]: White bar appearing on task bar

• I have checked the issue tracker if my bug has already been fixed or answered in another (possibly closed) issue.

Steps to reproduce the issue

This white bar keeps showing up, and I have no idea what to do to get rid of it. I saw in another post that if I use the "hide tray icon" option and then restart the app, it should disappear. It did disappear for about 10 minutes, but then it came back. It seems like the more programs I have open on my taskbar, the bigger this white thing gets. Sometimes, it almost covers the entire bar.

My taskbar get back the translucent look
