Discourse as Comment System

Lately I discovered that; theorically (I'm only an old Linux SysAdmin) it would be possible to use Discourse as a Comment System

Describe alternatives you've considered

to replace Discourse: I considered Disqus, Discord, Commento, ...

• but as I want to build a private community in long term they are not viable
  • Only maybe NodeBB; but I did'nt found persistant developper on the subject

to replace NextJS; : I considered Hugo Ghost, Wordpress, GravCMS ...

• but I'm very tired of hosting a complete CMS for delivering static pages.
  • with Notion it is very conveniant to post and manage content
    • but this is also possible via AirTable and; less obvious, Obsidian
• and Directus is too abstract for me and my users.
