system tray icon missing on Linux in v0.6.9–0.7.1

What seems to be going wrong?

Since the DashBeam 0.6.9 release, the system tray icon no longer appears in Linux, at least under the KDE Plasma desktop. I've tested both the AppImage and RPM packages, and the bug occurs in both. DashBeam 0.6.2 works correctly.

By default, closing DashBeam minimizes DashBeam to the tray icon, but as the tray icon isn't visible, there is no way to restore the DashBeam window. DashBeam must be closed instead via System Monitor.

How can we reproduce this?

1. Run a Linux desktop session using KDE Plasma (or possibly others). GNOME doesn't show system tray icons without extensions, and I haven't been able to test this configuration. I was able to reproduce the bug on Fedora 44 KDE installed to my desktop, as well as the Fedora 44 KDE and Kubuntu live ISO images running in KVM/QEMU via libvirt.
2. Download DashBeam version 0.6.9 – 0.7.1.
3. Run DashBeam
