[Bug]: New linked docs do not show up in left sidebar

What happened?

When creating a new linked doc via the + button in the left sidebar, the newly created document does not show up in the linked docs section (accessed via the dropdown on the left of the parent document title).

Expected behavior: Insert a block referencing it into the parent doc to create consistency with the behavior displayed when creating linked docs via the / command option in the editor. Alternatively, allow linked docs to be listed even when no linking block is present in the parent doc.

Update: The behavior seems to only occur in edgeless mode.
