Prepaid Exa hop when BYOK isn’t the path?

OpenHuman’s native web search already ships managed Exa on the subscription (or BYOK EXA_API_KEY on the user’s own Exa bill). I’m not replacing that default.

I built apifare (formerly apipay) so when a paid search/fetch hop is the path outside that managed lane, that hop sits on a prepaid MCP meter: one bearer token; governed proxy; caps + kill switch. Founding users get +1,500 credits on the first successful call.

Worth a look if a prepaid meter is the optional paid hop when BYOK Exa isn’t the path — not a replacement for managed Exa?
