[Feature] automatic updating hooks using GET

I might be wrong but create a hook or channel using the GET format currently fetches that specific item when setting the hook/channel and uses the retreived element as boundaries.

Would it not be an improvement that this is fetched on runtime? So that when you change an item the hooks and channels don't need to manually be updated?
