SCD?

Is it possible to build TDNS as an SCD? Managing .Net runtime installations on Linux can be a hassle during upgrade cycles. I guess it's easier on Windows, but sometimes on Linux I get non-working installations after an upgrade due to .Net runtime upgrade failures. Removing that piece entirely would make for more reliable upgrades on Linux. I know the installation script is supposed to take care of runtime upgrades, but it doesn't always, and sometimes I'm left with a mess to clean up. So, if an SCD is possible, it may be beneficial for more reliable upgrades.
