Keyboard doesn't switch language

Affected version

v0.29.1 (I think it started in v0.28.8)

Steps to reproduce the bug

You need to have a second language installed in the keyboard.

1. Go to search and select the search bar.
2. Keyboard opens.
3. Click on the language (globe) button. -> The keyboard flashes and remains in English. The highlighted key jumps to Q

Expected behavior

Language of the keyboard should change

Actual behavior

Keyboard language remains in English. The highlighted key jumps to Q
