Support for pre-Metal macOS versions?

Is it possible to support pre-Metal macOS versions? The code for GPU was initially requiring Metal https://github.com/Syllo/nvtop/commit/0844980e2cef791ac97c6e0314eba32d4397077d so cannot be built on earlier versions.
