How many `/sc:index-repo` commands do I need to run?

Just out of curiosity, I am currently using the Claude Code Pro plan. I am considering using `sc:index-repo` to conserve token usage. Do I need to run `/sc:index-repo` every time a feature is modified or added to the project?
