Better touchscreen controls

Problem Statement

I use Super Productivity almost exclusively on touchscreen devices, and it's obvious that it's not what the UI is designed for.

When you mouse over a task item, helpful controls appear: start/stop time tracking, and add/remove from today. These are not accessible at all through a pure touchscreen UI.

On the other hand, the touchscreen interface keeps the complete/uncomplete checkbox at the left of the task UI. I've never once intentionally used it on a touchscreen device. The swipe-left-to-right action is more convenient and intuitive (and satisfying) way to complete tasks.

It would be far more useful to replace (or at least agument) the checkbox at the left with the mouse-only mouseover controls, in particular the pause/play button. When I'm juggling 4 or 5 different tasks throughout the day (more common than ever now with AIs), I find it helpful to use the time tracker function to stay grounded and focused on one at a time instead of flipping back and forth. Right now, that's a cumbersome two-step process on a touchscreen: swipe right-to-left to open the context menu, then tap the time tracking menu item near the top of the context menu. On smaller devices, the context menu doesn't even fit on the screen it's so large.

The ugliest thing right now is that when you switch back and forth between touch and mouse input, the size of the task UI visibly shifts. My main task tracker is a tablet with a mouse and keyboard attached so I run into this one a lot.

In short, the touchscreen UI is due for an overhaul.

Possible Solution

First, make the touch and mouse UI match in size and scale to re-establish parity.

Second, in the touchscreen UI, replace the checkbox-and-mouseover controls with always-visible buttons that can be used on a touchscreen device.
