The new GUI for version 5

Whilst version 5 looks very nice and the waveform is now a more user friendly option for editing I find that there are too many hidden menus where in SE 4 where the menus were usually visible compact and clear, in the batch convert section for example why do we now just get a little note that says 'overwrite true or false' instead of the old version where options were shown right alongside the options menu. The new Subtitle Edit 5 interface feels less user-friendly than version 4 because frequently used commands are hidden behind drop-down menus. Batch Editing is a good example: in version 4, its options were immediately visible and easy to adjust, whereas in version 5 they are harder to discover. Please consider restoring commonly used commands to visible top-level menus, or add a classic/customizable interface option. I used to use the Translate/Create/Adjust menu all the time particularly adjust where the menu in version 4 is well laid out and easy to follow, for example 'Play from just before text' is not even included in the entire waveform menu and only available fro a user defined key combo!'. Controls for adjusting subtitles seem unclear and imprecise to me. Whilst this is still the best subtitle editor I feel that form has taken over from usability as far as the new UI is concerned. Version 4 menus were well thought out and clear. The new waveform editor option is much better than version 4, if only this had been added to version 4's UI, with it's clear menus, instead of redesigning the whole interface.
