Desktop app fails to open on Linux Ubuntu

This issue started with the update to the Linux desktop app to 3.4.5. When it updated, it simply refused to open. Click on it. Nothing. Uninstall and reinstall. Nothing. Other people here have suggested to revert to a previous version but this only gives an error message that there are no previous versions to revert to. So, the only way I can use Notesnook is through the web app. Which is less than ideal. The desktop app is great to work offline and sync later.
