2nd Sidebar (on right side)

Problem

A neat app often elucidates complex problems. Hence there is often a lot to explain to carry details about the app itself, its backgrounds and further details - especially for public apps. Currently, the little space in the sidebar and main window quickly get filled with explanations and further links. I have written long markdown documents one can hide, but still, either people quickly uncheck the box to head for the box or get overwhelmed with details. Eventually, a good app is not used because of a cluttered layout, long scrolling and still insufficient clarity.

Solution

MVP: A 2nd sidebar on the right side could be a nice designated place for such instructions, background information etc. It would save a lot of real estate in the other sections and still provide novice users with guidance without distracting frequent users. Moreover I consider it rather simple to copy the class from the existing sidebar - just as a right-bound counterpart.

Possible additions: Another option cold be an annotation overlay for all controls.

Preferred solution: I prefer the simple and straight forward solution
