[Bug]: marked text is erased when pressing ctrl key

What did you do?

not always, but sometime. Ubuntu 22.04 this is very annoying as I need to pay lot of attention for not accidently destroying the sql which is written and marked for copy.

Anyone also having this issue ? any suggestion ? thanks

marked text say unchanged when just pressing ctrl key

What did you see instead?

marked text SOMETIME disappears
