Video playback volume always resets to 100%

• I am using Signal-Desktop as provided by the Signal team, not a 3rd-party package.

Overall summary

When playing video attachments in Signal Desktop, the playback volume always defaults to 100%.

Changing the volume for one video is not remembered when opening another video or reopening a video. Each newly opened video starts at full volume again.

It would be preferable for Signal Desktop to remember the user's last selected video volume instead of resetting to 100% for every video.

Steps to reproduce

1. Open a conversation containing a video attachment.
2. Open/play the video.
3. Lower the video's volume using the video player's volume control, for example to 20%.
4. Close the video and open it again, or open another video attachment.
5. Check the volume level.

Expected result

The video player remembers the previously selected volume level.

For example, if the volume was changed to 20%, subsequently opened videos should start at approximately 20% volume rather than reverting to full volume.

Actual result

Every newly opened video starts at 100% volume, regardless of the volume selected for the previously played video.
