• I am using Signal-Desktop as provided by the Signal team, not a 3rd-party package.

Overall summary

It is really hard to install signal in fedora or other immutable systems. I really don't think this is how signal should do this they should support linux fully it seems like. If signal does not have there app in linux this really a bad move from signal. Signal should immediately launch their app in flatpak and snap maybe also as .rpm
