Can you add an ocr 'teach' feature?

The OCR engine should have a 'teach' feature that allows the user to teach the OCR engine to remember OCR corrections. For example, the OCR engine thinks that a lower case L is a 1. Teach the OCR engine to remember the correction and it will put the correct character into the clipboard each time it finds it.
