Improve CONTRIBUTING.md file

Description: The CONTRIBUTING.md file in our repository is currently very sparse and could be expanded to provide more guidance for potential contributors. This could include, but is not limited to:

• Guidelines for submitting a pull request (including any required tests or documentation).
• Information on our coding standards or style guide, if applicable.
• Any other information that would be helpful for new contributors.
