Thanks for creating this repository, the fact that each figure can be recreated using a self-contained python file is amazing. I would like to cite this repository, and GitHub offers a few ways of doing this neatly:

Creating a persistent identifier (DOI) using Zenodo,
Creating a CITATION.cff file in the repository itself.

Would you be interested in doing either of these two? That will enable me to cite your repository. While I am unsure as to whether my creation will be published, I would like to give credit in a more professional way.
