Input lag / dropped keystrokes when using Ambient backlight mode

What's wrong?

Hi, When I set the keyboard lighting to Ambient mode, the text I type in some applications misses letters due to input lag. For example, when I quickly type the word "ambient", it drops characters and registers as "abnt". Switching the mode back to Static completely solves this issue. Also, if you could make the color transitions softer and smoother in Ambient mode, it would look much more aesthetic and greatly enhance the experience while gaming. Thanks again for developing and maintaining this amazing tool!

How to reproduce the bug?

set the keyboard backlight mode to Ambient. open opera or everything etc. type something and you will see
