Audio spectrum data

I was trying to add custom audio to the 2022-dance example. However, I'm not quite sure how the data for the spectrum is generated, as the scripts only seem to import them from txt-files?

Could anyone point me in the direction of some instruction on how this data (spectogram, beats, flux, etc.) is generated?
