Firefox & Chrome (SBIE2336 SBIE2335 SBIE2203)
Describe what you noticed and did
I have Firefox and Chrome each installed to their own separate yellow sandbox identical to DefaultBox (just with Drop Admin)
I had been using them for a week now without any issue. Today I had Firefox and Chrome open with maybe 3-4 tabs each. I left my PC for about 1-2 hours and when I came back I saw this:

24.08.2026 21:17:13.005 PID: 3912: SBIE2335 Initialization failed for process firefox.exe [88 / 0] Both browser were still open and running. I closed Chrome, it closed. I closed Firfox, it appeared to be closed but Sandboxie showed firefox.exe still running. I trid to terminate firefox.exe via Sandboxie but Sandboxie could not terminate it. There was some error message from Sandboxie about not being able to terminate, but I forgot to save it. So firefox was still running in the Sandboxie process list so I went into windows Task Manager and found the firefox.exe (the Status column in Task Manager for firefox.exe said "Suspended"). I killed the firefox.exe with Task Manager and it disappeared from Sandboxie's process list. I think I then had to terminate another Sandboxie*.exe that was still active in the Firefox sandbox and that finally was the last thing and the sandbox was finally without "red dots".
I'm just putting this info out here so it's at least known. I don't know what to make of it. But I believe it's not an issue with Chrome or Firefox specifically since it happened to both of them at the around same time in two different sandboxes.
Something happened to Sandboxie or Windows around that time, is what I think. I had nothing else running in the background. It's a very clean system.

No, not at all.

Sandboxie Plus v1.18.1 64bit
Is it a new installation of Sandboxie?
I recently did a new clean installation.
Is it a regression from previous versions?
No
In which sandbox type you have this problem?
In a standard isolation sandbox (yellow sandbox icon).
Can you reproduce this problem on a new empty sandbox?
I can confirm it also on a new empty sandbox.
What is your Windows edition and version?
Windows 10 Enterprise
