claude enterprise either not supported or not recognized

My org has a subscription to Claude Code for the entire enterprise, and I use Code in the CLI on a daily basis. I've run claude auth login and I know that the local authentication works properly because running claude by itself launches Code and doesn't ask for any further authentication. However, in Settings > Code Mode, the Claude Code engine is ready but reports that I'm not signed in, and repeatedly clicking "Re-check" doesn't change anything.

Ultimately I would like to route everything through this subscription rather than the limited free tiers that show up in Settings > Models. But in that settings page all I see are models under the "Rowboat" heading; and while anthropic/claude-opus-4.8 is there, I think that's the built-in free tier, not the one that uses my enterprise credentials. (Our org has Opus 5, so I would expect to see that model appear if it was running the way I think it should be.)
