gitee links used even when not in China

I just got flagged by my sysadmin when attempting to do the initial setup for P10K, because the gitee.com URL was hit even though I'm in CONUS.

While I understand why it's there, can that be something that's either a toggle/option, or ensure that it's not run for US-based users?
