Citation removed when copy/pasting highlights out of a PDF

What happened?

Sometimes, when I quick copy an annotation's text, the author, date and page number if available are no longer included in the output when pasted into e.g. a Word document.

I raised this problem a while ago on the Zotero forums (https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/129298/author-date-and-page-number-missing-from-copy-paste-of-annotation#latest) and was advised it was likely an issue related to BBT. The issue I then raised on the BBT Github is here: https://github.com/retorquere/zotero-better-bibtex/issues/3383

I wasn't able to recreate it while the debug log was running back then, but it happened again recently. I restarted the Better Bibtex debug log, and have hopefully just managed to capture it in the attached log. The issue is always temporarily resolved by restarting Zotero. But it will eventually return after I have had it open for a while, without an obvious trigger.

I was running Zotero 9.0.5 in the debug log provided. I am aware that this is one release behind the most recent, but I have been having this issue since Zotero 8 so hopefully it doesn't matter.
