Very bad lag system-wide when scrolling fast on PDF in scrolled mode

Bug Description

When scrolling somewhat far (trying to find a chapter or something) in scrolled mode on a PDF, the program (and my PC) slows down badly. This happens with a 5 MB PDF that is just text, so it is not because of scrolling on a large file. Basically doesn't happen on EPUB at all, I can scroll extremely fast and there is no slowdown. There is a secondary issue where the same slowdown (mouse lagging and moving erratically, etc) invariably happens if I open the sidebar (w/ the table of contents, notes, etc) when I'm on scrolled mode for the PDF, but not the corresponding EPUB.

Expected behavior

Scrolling should, even if lagging the program, not lag the entire computer. Ideally, lag minimally in general.

Technical inputs

Operating System: Windows 10 i7-13700k with 32GB of RAM. Readest Version: Version 0.11.17 (Edge 149.0.0.0) latest nightly, but this is not new
