New interactive mode breaks in IDE console

• I have searched for similar issues
• I am using the latest version of npm-check-updates
• I am using node >= 14

I believe IDE console (Intellij IDEA) doesn't support some terminal commands. So when I press Down few times I see something like this:

Probably this issue can occur in SSH terminal sometimes

Would be great if it's possible to have 2 interaction modes: new (UI) and old (serial answers). Thank you!
