Quicklook doesn't work anywhere but the desktop on Win 10 if multi-non Latin languages pack installed

Quicklook hasn't worked for me for years now, except for files actually the desktop, and I recently spent some time trying to track down why, as I finally got fed up with PowerToy's Peek's dismal performance,

I've traced the failure on my machine to the languages packs I've got installed (and I need) - they are English (US) main language, Russian, German, Chinese (Simplified) French Italian Spanish (International sort) Korean and Japanese.

I find that hitting the spacebar within an Explorer window immediately adds a space to the find searchbox in the window ie Windows seems to be capturing the spacebar input as a potential foreign language input before it gets to send the command needed by Quicklook, meaning Quicklook fails to work.

I've tried writing an AutoHotKey to wrest control, and give it to Quicklook, and that macro worked briefly, but now it doesn't work for some reason. I don't understand why it worked before I started loading it at startup. Here is the Autokey macro I used, maybe somebody could help with it and why that it doesn't work either
