Summary

Three dead or unreachable entries in the public APIs list (checked 2026-09-20).

1. 18F API-All-the-X

http://18f.github.io/API-All-the-X/ returns 404. 18F's GitHub Pages presence has been retired, so this entry can't serve anyone.

2. UK Food Ratings Agency

https://ratings.food.gov.uk/open-data/en-GB returns 404. The FSA open-data page has moved; the listed URL is dead.

3. Numbers API

https://numbersapi.com fails TLS with a certificate for the wrong hostname, so the API is unreachable over HTTPS as listed.

Repro: curl -sv https://numbersapi.com → SSL: no alternative certificate subject name matches target host name 'numbersapi.com'

Happy to open a PR removing/updating all three if maintainers agree. For Numbers API I'd suggest removal or replacement with a working endpoint, since a cert mismatch isn't something a reader can route around.
