• Pocket AI - No Internet - iPhone app that runs open-weight LLMs (Qwen, Llama, DeepSeek, Mistral, Phi, Gemma, SmolLM) entirely on-device via llama.cpp with Metal. No account, no server, works in airplane mode. Whisper voice input also runs on-device and is part of the paid unlock.

• Why do you think this helps users privacy?: The Artificial Intelligence section currently offers a reader either a hosted service or a desktop runtime. Neither helps someone who wants a private assistant on the phone they already carry. This runs inference locally on iPhone, so prompts are not sent to a provider, there is no account tying queries to an identity, and it works with no connection at all. Version 3.1 ships no analytics SDK; the single optional in-app purchase is processed by Apple, with RevenueCat seeing an anonymous identifier only.

• Additional comments / info: Disclosure: I am the developer. I want to be straight about the things that count against it here. It is closed source. It is iOS-only and needs an iPhone 12 or newer. It currently sits at 2.8 stars from 6 App Store ratings, and while two of the three written reviews are against a four-month-old version, I am not going to pretend that number is good. I see the AI section is nearly all FOSS, so I understand if that rules it out; I noticed a few non-FOSS entries (Tinfoil, ParakeetTDT) and thought it was worth asking.
